- Jealousy will increase to the extent that a son will wish for his father’s death.

- Men will feel a sense of shame (loss of dignity/shyness), while modesty will be lifted from women.

- Those who beg will be driven away.
- Trustworthiness will cease to exist.
- Mosques will turn into places filled with disputes and arguments.
- Scholars will seek worldly gains.
- Interest (usury) and bribery will be treated as ordinary, casual actions.
- A woman will adorn herself and walk among strange (non-mahram) men.
- Charity will be done for public display and advertisement.
- People of good character and virtue will be treated with contempt.
- People will not find true happiness through wealth.
- Wherever one looks, chaos, turmoil, and revolutions will prevail.
- Due to widespread tribulations, the faith (Iman) in the hearts of believers will be shaken.
- People will no longer trust one another.
- Sins will be boastfully spoken of to others.
- Those appointed to dispense justice will lack justice.
- The sky will not rain, and the earth will not yield crops.
- People will seek knowledge merely to argue and showcase their eloquence.
- The young will not show respect to the elders.
- Mosques will be extravagantly decorated.
- Fornication and adultery will become rampant.
- Alcohol will become common among people, and they will not even consider it an evil.
- Bribery will become widespread.
- Children (or the unqualified/ignorant) being treated as scholars is one of the signs of the Hour.
- The crescent moon will appear so large that when people see the first-night moon, they will say it looks like the second-night moon.
- A man will pass through a mosque but will not offer two rak’ahs of prayer in it.
- A person will give the greeting of peace (Salam) only to those he knows.
- Weather patterns and seasons will change drastically.
- Killing and bloodshed will increase.
- Honesty and trustworthiness will be ruined.
- Earthquakes will increase in frequency.
